Pandora Intelligence is an independent intelligence company, specialized in security risks. We adopt a patented scenario-based approach that enables us to discover narratives in unstructured data. Moreover, we add real-time information to these scenarios and create actionable intelligence.

Position:

We are looking to extend our core team of professionals with a Lead engineer responsible for operations and site reliability (SRE). Our team consists of dedicated and ambitious people with a mix of nationalities.

Experience with operations and SRE is needed. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work a flexible work environment and be a crucial member of a highly dedicated development team.

The task and responsibilities include:

• Defining, expanding and maintaining a scalable infrastructure using ‘Infrastructure as Code’. This includes the creation of conceptual, logical and physical designs for cloud-based infrastructure.
• A responsibility for “software as a service”.
• A close cooperation with the engineering team and the customers, driving improvements in the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of the platform.
• Identification of opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies and techniques.
• Setting up and maintaining a support structure that prepares the organisation for further growth.
• Implementing industry standards for instance in SLA’s.

The suitable candidate should:

• Have at least three years of experience in a role with a similar scope within a SAAS company.
• Have experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and optionally with Grafana, Prometheus and/or Graylog.
• Have experience with Azure. Experience with Google cloud and/or AWS is a big plus.
• Have a strong knowledge of industry standards like Agile / Scrum / DevOps.
• Have experience with security principles for cloud-based and on-premises solutions.
• Be well versed in all aspects of SRE and practices, abreast of the latest testing technologies.
• Be pragmatic and solution-focused.
• Be hands-on, energetic and able to lead by example.
• Be a progressive thinker with excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
• Be able to communicate in both Dutch and English, both in speech and text.
• Be in the possession of a valid EU working permit.
